Complementing our own HP Collect Chucks and shrink fit tool holders, these HSK Plus holders ae designed to operate up to 40,000 RPM with minimal imbalance. By screwing our HSK Plus compatible cutting tool onto the holder a run out of 0.003 mm to 0.01 mm can be achieved, comparable to our shrink fit tool holders.
With such a high concentricity, manufacturers can run their tools at much higher load speeds and feed rates to achieve the best possible cutting quality while maintaining maximum output.
Should a tool change be required, our HSK Plus tools can simply be unscrewed from the tool holder and a new tool be fit in place minimising downtime. Your costs are further reduced if you opt for our HSK Plus solution over a comparable heat shrink tool holder as no heat shrink machine needs to be purchased to perform a tool change.
