We are pleased to announce AKE”s latest innovation, the DP Fusion Cutter, an efficient and cost effective jointing cutter solution suitable for processing wood based panels (coated and uncoated). This latest innovation from AKE serves to complements our existing portfolio of Cutting 2.0 and Harmony jointing cutters.
Equipped with replaceable diamond insert knives, this solution combines the precision and quality of our Harmony jointing cutters with the flexibility of replacing broken or blunt inserts onsite. Without the need to remove the cutter from the machine for servicing this reduces downtime for manufacturers. Operators can quickly and easily replace inserts when the tool is is still mounted on the machine.
Key features of our solution.
- Our diamond insert knives may be sharpened up to 2 times; you have no need to worry about constantly purchasing new inserts.
- Currently available from 60mm to 220mm in diameter with cutting widths from 8 to 300mm. Body available in steel or light weight aluminium. Let us know if you are unsure which material is suitable for your application.
- Can be locked directly on shafts, equipped with a hydrosleeve or mounted with HSK32R/HSK63F holders.
