At AKE we manufacture a wide range of saws for many applications including those used in the construction industry for on-site cutting. One of our popular solution is our metal cutting carbide sawblade. Perfect for dry cutting of steel* and non-ferrous metal materials onsite using portable machines.
*Note: Should you be predominantly cutting stainless steel do let us know and we will equip the appropriate carbide.

Unlike fiber saws or discs that are typically used to cut on-site, these saws are able to last longer and produce a much superior finishing quality with minimal burr. Since they do not rely on friction to cut like fiber discs our saws cut faster ensuring greater efficiency and generate much less heat on the workpiece or dust particles. Your workpieces do not run the risk of heat related damage as a result.

Our dry cutting carbide saws are designed to run on much higher RPMs up to 1500 n/min when cutting metal, which is in the range of typical operating load speeds of metal cutting portable saws.

Another of our popular solutions is our construction saw, designed specifically for difficult material and harsh operating environments. Equipped with a suitably hard carbide tip and backed by our rigid saw body, this saw is ideal for the cutting of wood and wood based material even with woods with embedded nails, laminates, plasterboards, insulation panels as well as aerated concrete or Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC).
This saw is perfect for on-site cutting of AAC blocks since they are faster and more efficient than normal carbide tipped handsaws that are sometimes used by contractors to cut these blocks.
Should heat generation during cutting operations be an issue, these construction saws can be equipped with specific cooling channels to allow ventilation. This reduces the chances of melting workpieces such as foam insulation boards during cutting operations.
Feel free to contact us if you are dealing with a particularly troublesome material to cut on-site or if you wish to learn more of our solutions for the construction industry.
